    Good Bag

This bag is just what I needed to bring all my gear to yin yoga classes. It’s spacious and the backpack straps are a lovely option. After just a few weeks the zipper gave out on me though and doesn’t close properly. The Velcro at the end is helpful but just a bummer as I was biking to class and wearing the bag as a backpack but now can’t do that without the risk of everything falling out.

The Mary Poppins of Yoga Bags: Practically Perfect in Every Way

So I came just to buy my own set of Big Blue blocks but since I started Yoga Teachers School I remembered how hard it was schlupping all my gear to the first class (and now I was adding 2 Big Blue Blocks) so I splurged on the purchase since the dims indicated the blocks would fit nicely. I was pleased to find that it holds ALL my gear beautifully (you don't want to know how much) and learned it is loaded with features I did not notice on the website description: wide double-zipper opening, sewn-on one end of the bag top and velcro'd on the other, 2 ample pockets, one inside and one out, top and bag-end handles and the adjustable surprise shoulder straps on the side opposite the pocket so the whole thing can be carried like a backpack. Quality materials and construction. It was a worthwhile investment.

Nice carryall for things other than yoga props

I tested this bag for a recent weekend trip. I needed to pack a pillow, a blanket, and towels. It had plenty of room for all that as well as for clothes and toiletries. Having one large open space accommodates large rectangular things like pillows and foam blocks. An upgrade suggestion is adding an end pocket in addition to the outside side pockets for room keys and other flat items.
