CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Spot clean with a damp cloth. For deep cleaning, empty buckwheat hulls into a bowl. Hand wash cover and hang to dry. Replace filling when completely dry.

    Cushion is very wide!

    Be warned of you are a petite person this cushion is quite wide. Quality is good and I like that the fill level is adjustable, but I feel like I’m going to slide through the V and land on the floor. Hope I get used to it with time.

    I had only planned to purchase two other cushions but this one was recommended to me by the salesperson with whom I spoke. Boy am I glad I listened! Of all four, this one is my very favourite, I use it almost daily and it was a true life saver during a time my hips were acting up in a big way. Great buy, mine is olive green and holding up well over a year later.

    V-Shaped Meditation Pillow

    I am extremely pleased with this pillow. It is well made and high quality. The ingenious design allows me sit comfortably. I had given up sitting on the ground on a zafu after many decades of zazen. Now I am back on the ground straight and comfortable. Thank you Hugger Mugger for this innovation!

    My One And Only!

    I’ve tried the traditional circle meditation cushions, but I always had back pain and my legs would go numb after 10-15 mins. After a lot of research I found this V-shaped cushion. I am able to sit tall with no back pain and my legs haven’t gone numb even after 30 minutes! This is my forever cushion! Thank you Hugger Mugger!

    It good for a 30 min mediation any longer and I have to shift but great for working on posture with.

    I have lower back and hip troubles that result in discomfort when sitting on the ground for longer periods of time. Although I do intend to use this to help with meditation at some point, it has gotten more use as somewhere for me to sit while I play with my kid sitting on the floor. It accomplishes the goal of minimizing my back pain while sitting on the ground, so I am a fan.

    After a knee injury last summer, sitting cross-legged was difficult. I have always used a wool blanket or beach towels to sit on for support. This cushion with the slope down toward the floor, i.e., down toward my knees allow me to sit such that the strain is eliminated on the medial side of the knees. I also use it for backbends and supported sarvangasana.

    This is What I Needed

    I am trying to start a meditation practice, as I am reading a Dan Harris book. He says we can even sit in a chair, as he does, but I wanted to be on the floor. The trouble is that my back hurts quickly when sitting cross-legged. This product has solved my problem. So far, I am just doing 10-15 minutes, but I know I can easily sit on the floor, with legs crossed, spine straight, and relaxed, much longer with this. It allows legs to be a little lower than the spine and also provides a place for thighs to rest in this position, so you don't feel inner thigh strain. I hesitated with the purchase because of the cost but it is well constructed and I can tell it will last for years without losing its shape. I won't be surprised if I am still using it 10 years from now.
