Love the design and its very comfortable.

I have all 3 of these mats. The studio, the commuter and the travel mat. My first Mat from Design Lab I bought 5 years ago it is the thickest. It was basically like a giant mouse pad. I do hot Yoga and I SWEAT A LOT and this was good for its time. Last year I bought the commuter, the new technology on the top layer of these mats now is amazing. The top layer on all the mats is SO MUCH more grippy than the older versions of this mat, and the colors are just as amazing.This color and the tie die colors are also great because you don't see all the sweat on the mat, in the event you are still sweating like crazy and everyone else isn't in a non-heated practice.This mat is really good for traveling, because it packs up small, and you can put it on top of the useless studio mats.Finally, because of the fabric top later they are really good for Ashatanga yoga as well so your feet don't get stuck when you are sliding your legs through for the seated postures.

This was I thought expensive - but its fabulous in so far as it makes your yoga vinysa much smoother - its light and pretty and now abandoned my other yoga mats not just for travel but for everyday home use

Got a Yogo and it was sticky but when my hands got sweaty, I was slipping all around. Returned to this brand (I have a thicker mat for normal use) and was really pleased with how sticky the mat is once my hands are wet. Also, it's beautiful!

I haven't had this for long, but have used it twice, both in crowded, hot power yoga classes. It took over a year to have my previous Manduka mat feel less slippery, but I always needed a towel on top of it for hot yoga. I rolled out this mat with some trepidation about it, because the last thing I want is to be focusing on not slipping once I start sweating, and I sweat like Nixon at a debate during hot yoga. Anyway, like other reviewers mentioned, it did get a little squishy where the sweat pools, but I never slipped once. And the mat is really attractive. Highly recommended.

The mat is very pretty and has nice feel. It is relatively compact and solid when wet.I really enjoy it!

The design was beautiful, fun to use , the pad is thick and comfortable, glad I bought it.
