Due to the photo-degradable properties of this mat, it should not be left in sun, extreme heat, or extreme cold for an extended amount of time.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
For maximum traction, wash before first use. Clean with mat wash or a 1:20 solution of mild dish soap and water. Hang to dry.
This mat is photo-degradable. Do not store it in the sun, extreme heat, or extreme cold for prolonged periods. Exposure to sun in a hot car could cause the mat to break down.

Buying a Second
I've had this mat for at least 5 years. It still looks great (no weird discoloration), doesn't smell funky, and provides the grip I need for intermediate yoga. My Husband has just started practicing and we're getting a second Earth Elements Mat for him.

Lasts a long time but not forever. That's a good thing.
I love the cushioning (no need to double up for the knees) and love, love, love the sticky dry feel. I've taken care of it - had it more than 5 years - but now it's starting to flake a bit. Time for a new one!

Great cusioning, no slip mat
I have had this mat for a couple of years now and LOVE it. What I love is that my feet don't slip, even when you start to get hot and sweaty and I love that it has extra cushion support so when you do poses with pressure on your knees/hips, your bones have enough cushion support that it doesn't get uncomfortable. I absolutely LOVE this mat and would highly recommend. I have had this mat for a couple of years and have had no problems.

Love this mat
Hi, I got this mat because I needed a non-rubber mat as I am allergic to those, and the PVC mats smell of chemicals as well. Not good when you're trying to breathe during practice! The material is also very cushiony and comfortable, and you won't slip during practice either. They don't last forever but I have no problem with that so long as HM keeps selling them. Recommend.

Beautiful biodegradable mat.
This is a great mat, especially if you're looking for an eco friendly one. Be aware, however, that it is biodegradable and must be taken care of. Do not leave it in hot cars or damp areas for too long... it will do what it is supposed to do and biodegrade. If you want something that will last longer, I would suggest one of Hugger Mugger's PVC mats.

Mat fabric crumbles where feet and hands naturally go.
I loved the look and feel of this mat, but it did not last very long as compared to other mats I've purchased for less money. I would not buy this mat again for that reason.
