This is a terrible mat. It bunches up during hot yoga and doesn’t lay flat. Don’t waste your money. Very disappointed

This cork mat is awesome! Super grippy (not too trippy), texture is great, lots of padding. I love it!It doesnt bother me, but in case it will bug you, the ink pattern smudges slightly with sweat and cleaning. Still love my purchase, though.

I use this mat 5+ days a week in my hot yoga class. Before this mat I had a sweat towel and it was always moving and bunching up in class. I absolutely love the design and the feel of this mat. It absorbs my sweat extremely well and the design is super cute. Keeps me centered during flows. My only complaint was the same as others indicated. The smell is very strong at first. I just let it air out in my garage for a couple of days and the smell went away. Highly recommend

I used to always buy the longer, wider, cushier mats, but after many years of practice, I was ready to upgrade and decided to treat myself to my idea of a "professional" mat.*It is thin*Like much thinner than any other mats I owed. I can definitely feel the ground more, which in this case is amazing as I gained stability and grounding. I can say that it's harder on the knees, but I was ready for it and didn't feel any pain practising. But if you have joint pain, this one might not be for you. It rolls super small and compact, but the material still makes it heavy (so maybe not for travelling on a plane for instance) and doesn't move or lift from the ground.*It is short*And by short I mean regular sized. I'm 5'10, and I always felt I needed a longer mat. But for the last year or so, as I was getting more centred on the mat, I felt I haven't been using the last 8 inches of the one I had. I gave this one a go and felt like it was actually perfectly sized with still some room for play at the top and bottom.*It doesn't have alignment marks*But the symmetrical design is quite enough to guide in all poses and to accurately find the middle, which I still enjoy.*It doesn't slip*Which it what I mostly wanted from a mat. I also wanted the feeling and grips of a nice mate and non plastic-y material, and I'm absolutely pleased with the fell. Also perk of the prints at the top and bottom makes it extra grippy without being sticky.*It does have a smell*But quite faint, and I recon that after a few uses it will go away. I mean, it's that whole "new car smell" thing, and I enjoyed the smell of my shiny new playground.*It's beautiful*That in itself makes me want to take it out and roll on it, and brings me joy in my practice.Bottom line : I love it, and it was less pricey than other options.
