YDL Combo Yoga Mat - 2-in-1 (Mat + Towel) - Best For Hot Practices

was looking around for a while for a mat that would allow new to not need an extra towel on my mat to absorb sweat as well as help me from slipping in class. though i needed to moisten my mat where hands and feet would be, it worked 90% well. slipping happened occasionally but i didnt expect it to be 100% non-slip. the print is amazing to say the least and had many compliments on my 1st use. i would stick to my thicker mat for ashtanga and non-hot yoga classes but really want to pick up the thickest one since the prints are so pretty, just to see if it would support my heels better thank this 1.5 thickness mat. i put a small towel on my mat for purposes of supporting my heels at times.

I have sweaty hands and this has improved my yoga practice enormously! Super grippy and absorbent. I love this. My only feedback is that dirt shows really easily so I would recommend going for the darker colors

I love my mat. I use mine primarily for mat Pilates. I'm always getting compliments on the beautiful colors but more importantly, the mat prevents any slipping. In general I prefer thick mats because I have a bruised tail bone and the thickness of this mat prevents any pain in my low spine.

This is a great mat for hot yoga! All you need is a few squirts of water at the beginning of a class to make the fabric grippy, and after a few sun salutations, your hands should be moist enough to not slip at all. My mat arrived in perfect condition and there was very little odor - just a faint rubber scent. I love the carrying strap that comes with it, but I haven't really used it - the mat stays rolled up very well on it's own. I'm very happy with this mat and I will probably get another one if this one wears out. I love the lavender color and the microfiber texture!

It took me a couple of weeks to decide on what mat I wanted. I knew I did not want one that has the little bumps on it. This mat is so soft and goes out flat right away. No waiting for it to uncurl. I am still new to yoga but I feel better having a nice comfy mat that is not slipping around on me. It was worth the money and I would buy it again tomorrow if something happened to this one. I am saving for the travel one next.

I got this mat about a month and a half ago and am fairly new to Bikram Yoga. This was a huge help as it really prevents slipping. My only minor complaint is that I have bad knees and I wouldn't mind a little extra padding. It's better than any others I've seen though in this regard too. No need to use a towel in my opinion with this.

I wanted a mat that was not made of petroleum based products, which is hard to find. I'm relatively new to yoga and this is only my second mat, but it has exceeded my expectations. I bring a spray bottle filled with water to my classes and spray a fine line where my hands and feet will be placed during downward facing dog, and there's no slipping. It's one small step more than just rolling out your mat, but for me, having a mat that isn't chemical based is worth it to me. It's aesthetically pleasing, too. I love that it comes with a strap, which for me, can double as a yoga strap for moves that require one.
