I have two styles of these and they are gorgeous! been using for two months in hot yoga, only cleaning with the " mat spray" and no odor is present when in Childs pose ;-) i have no issue with the slip factor, it is negligible.

I've been using YDL products for over a year now and I'm constantly impressed by the quality and uniqueness of their products. Yes, these mats may seem a little pricey but you really do get what you pay for and they last so well (I do yoga 3 times a week and travel everywhere with my mat)! I do mostly vinyasa yoga and get extremely sweaty - the grip I get from this mat is amazing. When I am doing a less sweaty/more relaxing form of yoga, I spritz the mat with some water mixed with a couple drops of tea tree oil to help with the grip (the oil is my relaxant LOL). The game changing aspect for me I think is the fact that it's washable - I've always been grossed out about using dirty/old foam mats and now I never have to worry about putting my forehead on dirty mats and risking a break out again! My best purchase yet and I'm totally converted!

Doing Yoga and Physio at home. Thin enough to stand stable and soft enough to protect your joints. Not as sticky as one if the mats without the special surface when doing non heating/sweating practice but easily resolved by spraying bit of water where you place hands/feed. First was put iff because of a comment which says it is a heavy mat. I am did not compare with lots but it's easy enough to transport and no burden. Very satisfied!

Bought this for my girlfriend's birthday, she's a yoga nut and into corepower and hot yoga. She sweats a lot during hot yoga so we needed a mat that could be easily cleaned- this has survived almost daily trips through the wash cycle with no problem. Make sure you can air dry it overnight though- never tried it in the dryer.

Absolutely love my mat! When I first opened it, it was a lot heavier then I expected and quite thin. Once I layed it out on my wood floor, I tried doing some sit ups and planks. Definitley gives me enough cushion considering I'm quite bony. I love the softness of it. Such a beautiful mat and can't wait to use it in the studio! Would definitley recommend!
