Nice and Long But Too Thin for Me
I like the extra length for us taller people, but the 1/4 inch depth is too thin for me. It hurts my knees so I just purchased a 2nd one. Really wish they offered deeper versions of the longer units. The blue color is nice and the unit does not slip, although it smells quite a bit, even after a week. I will try washing it.

I absolutely love this mat. I never slip and slide when I am doing yoga and I love that I can stretch as far as I can and not go off the mat.

Seems great in many ways
This seems to be a great yoga mat... Extra long at 80" as well as 1/4" thick yet remarkably lightweight for its dimensions.

Great Length
Love the length, I'm 6'2" so finding a mat long enough is a challenge. This one fits the bill. It sticks nicely to our wood floors so no slipping around. Just wish it was a bit thicker.

2003 to Now and Still in Good Shape
I bought my mat in 2003 just out of college. I wanted a long, softer mat than the one that I had in college. After doing a fair amount of research both online and in the studios I attended, I came to this mat. I am 6 ft and 230 lbs. With the exception of the sweatiest classes, this mat has performed well. Both on firm carpet, hardwood floors and rubber gym flooring. It survived two puppies laying on it, although they did leave a mark or two. I have found it easy to wash/rinse in the shower and hang dry. Just purchased the bamboo towel to go over it for hot yoga. Will let you know how it goes.
