Long, Thin, And A Little Too Narrow
The mat has great texture but is quite thin. I don’t mind the lack of padding myself but it might bother some looking for more comfort. I’m 6’ tall and 240 lbs. I didn’t know what to expect as far as width goes and what I would need during practice. I do at home classes now so this was my first mat. The 80” length is great but the width is not so great for my frame. I’m fairly broad and would love another 4” or so in width but maybe I’m the outlier in terms of the yoga practitioner population. All in all, not bad but if I could exchange for a wider one, I would.

My Yoga Mat for 10+Years
I have been using the Tapas Original 74 and 80 inch yoga mats for over 10 years. I'm 70" tall and love the extra length. Follow the instructions before first use and these mats stick and last. I like the 1/8 in thickness, just the right amount of cushion for me while still feeling fully connected to the earth. Great selection of colors as well.

Did the initial wash before using yesterday and used this morning - I LOVE IT! It's perfectly sticky and the extra length makes me stretch longer. So glad I found this mat - thank you!

Excellent for Long Yogis
Love the length of this mat! Finally one I can fully stretch out on. It is on the thin side, so keep that in mind if you like more cushion. Overall very pleased!
