Tapas® Original 68 in. Yoga Mat

An excellent product, I am buying it for my daughter—a professional yoga instructor and her friends in Europe. Delivery—very fast as usual.

This is the best yoga mat I’ve ever owned/used. It’s thin but has enough cushion, I love the stickiness, and it’s lightweight so I use it both at home and carrying to a studio. (It might not be a good fit for you if you’re looking for a dense rubber mat.)

I gifted four of these to my niece's Eagle Scout project then her mother wanted one for her birthday!

I found the mat to be a little slippery when I first started using it, but over time it seems to have become less slick. The thickness is perfect, and overall the mat is really comfortable!

This mat feels kinda thin for me. The quality is excellent, and the rain color is nice, but I wish I had gotten a thicker mat... I didn't realize how thin this one would be. I do like that this is US made, and the mat stays in place well when I roll it out.

I really wanted to find yoga equipment made in the USA because there is no joy in shopping for anything when I have to ask myself, 'Was this made in a sweatshop?' before purchasing. The quality is great, it's elevated my home practice (yoga on a concrete patio may build character but it also builds weird lookin' knee calluses), and I love the color. Everything about the product is good and I will definitely be a returning customer!

I’ve had my first Tapas mat for over thirteen years and I know this because when my dog, Ellie, who is almost fourteen, was a puppy, she chewed up one corner of the mat. I decided it was high time for a new one. It’s great quality and stays nicely put on my laminate wood floors when doing poses.

I have had this mat for seven months now and use it everyday. It still shows no wear or tear! The thickness is still has plump as when I first received it. I use this mat outside and there has been no color fading. I washed it with a mild soap upon receipt and have never noticed any unpleasant odor. The stickiness is still just the right amount giving me a safe grip through all poses. This mat is definitely worth every penny! I highly recommend.

I have a Hugger Mugger Tapas Original mat that is 25 years old and my favorite mat. I have tried other mats, thicker ones, fancy-looking mats, and always come back to my tireless original first yoga mat. I decided to give one to as a birthday gift to my son's girlfriend who just started doing yoga regularly with my son who was born the year I bought my mat. I wanted her to have the best. She loves her new mat and sends gratitudes abound. During this strange pandemic time, the shipping promise of 3 days got pushed to 5 which was going to be too late and I called and the amazing Customer Service dept worked a little magic and was able to make sure I received the mat in time for her birthday. Much Gratitude for an amazing timeless product and quality of service to match!!
