The Standard Yoga Bolster is a great size to start with if you are new to yoga bolsters. This multi-purpose bolster has a rectangular shape with a flat top and bottom for stability.

I Bought Two
Actually, I bought three. I first purchased this one and the Pranayama Bolster, but I get so much use out of them I decided two full size bolsters were worth the price. Great for restorative shapes, a lot you can do with these.

Bolster
Well, it's working fine on a mechanical level, and I like the color, but even after days in the sun and wiping down it still has an unpleasant chemical sent. Hopefully it will dissipate with time, but it's rare for me to introduce such into my living space & so unfortunate when spending what seems like a huge amount of money. Not organic, and not washable, evidently.

A Separate, Washable Cover Would Be Helpful
Because the bolster cover fabric is not washable—due to the tight fit—it would be great if Hugger Mugger could sell drawstring covers in fabrics that match the bosters. As it is, I’m paying a tailor $60 each to make a pattern and create drawstring covers from unbleached canvas for my two bolsters. I’ve opted to do this while my bolster is new, before it gets soiled during yoga practice; but, I’m a little sad about covering up the bolster’s beautiful Plum color and fabric handle. Oh, well. 5 stars otherwise!

The Perfect Bolster
I have been waiting to buy a bolster until I found the Perfect one and now I finally have. This is firm (yet still soft to offer comfort) and it is the perfect prop for Yin or Restorative yoga. I'm very happy with this purchase. Great quality product!

Love This Bolster
I have 2 of them now and use them for yoga, but also to sit on when playing with grands on the floor. It is a bit more easeful for my aging body. And of course, the grands love them too! And when they leave, time for a bit of a restorative practice with the bolster.

I've been using this bolster nightly for restorative yoga since it arrived. Can't say enough good things about it :) It's sturdy, yet comfortable. And I LOVE the Aqua color. So pleased with everything about it!!

Dashing and Commendable Yoga Bolster
The Standard Yoga Bolster is anything but standard. Its dashing plum color, durable fabric, and firmness enhance my yin and restorative practice. It is just like the ones I used at the studio, and now I have my own to use at home. The design and support are commendable.
