Greatest Mat In The World
I love this mat I can do all kinds of yoga with it and it doesn’t go sailing across the room like other mats. I love that when I do aerial yoga it stays put underneath me and that when I get super sweaty during terrestrial yoga I don’t slide everywhere. It’s super light compared to my other mats too. I think I’m in love.

Too Slippery
The mat is too slippery under my hands. Both sides. One more so than the other.

Not for Hot Yoga
It hurts my arms when I am practicing hot yoga. It is too thin for my knees as well. I am not happy with this mat.

Great Mat
I have been using this mat almost daily for two years now and I am very happy with it. Great quality, great natural feel. Hugger is an excellent company to do business with. Now I am looking to buy another thicker Hugger Mugger mat for Yin.

Beautiful Space
I will admit that there is a very special relationship to this Sattva Jute Yoga Mat. It was purchased at a special dojo from good shepherds who had guided me safely. It has now traveled some miles and has acquired a few stains & markings that only give it more character. When the time comes to replace it only the same product to be considered. Many thanks.

I am a traveling yoga teacher and have been teaching in countries all around the globe for several years. It's hard not to; it feels so earthy, is light, environmentally friendly, and has great grip while being very nice to touch. Once when I was in Australia, somebody talked me into selling them my mat because they were just so in love and had never experienced such a holistically wonderful mat. I have had an intimate relationship with this mat for 2 years now and don't think I will ever switch! Worth every penny.
