I Finally Found The Right Fit!
I am a short and curvy yoga practitioner, so finding props that fit my body can be challenging. The space between my pelvic bone and lower rib is literally 2 inches. The extreme curves of my chest, to small waist, to ample hips make a traditional bolster too wide for many poses. Thankfully I decided to try the Junior bolster. Now I can easily enter many restorative poses that were challenging before. What a great life lesson–it really is about finding the right fit for your body, your journey, and your personal happiness. Disappointed with the Shape and Size
I think this bolster is of the same high quality as the regular size but I am disappointed in the shape of the Junior. From the looks of it I was expecting it to be oval in shape and it is more round. It rolls around, even after using it a few days.

Still Too Large
It is less wide, but still as thick and long as a standard bolster. I wanted something less wide as well, something that was smaller overall.

Love the Junior Bolster
I THOUGHT I wanted the regular sized bolster. Luckily I have a friend who has ALL the bolsters. He let me try the regular one and I wasn't super happy so I tried the Junior and LOVED it, and immediately ordered my own. I am 6'3" and would NOT have bought this based on reviews alone, since most say "I'm small so it's great." Don't be afraid of the word Junior.

Perfect for Smaller Yogis
Before I bought this, I purchased a regular round bolster and struggled in restorative poses because I was literally suspended in the air before I realized it was just too big for me. I saw this junior size and it is perfect for me. I'm 5'1" with a short torso, so if you are similar in size I highly recommend it. My restorative poses now feel great. Much higher quality than my previous generic Amazon one.

Good size for petite women
This is a good alternative for petite women who find regular size bolsters to be a bit uncomfortable for some poses like chest opening stretches and other support poses.
