Great Block
I bought this because I had a very squishy foam block and needed one that was more stable. This definitely does the trick. The texture and appearance are great, too. It does have a bit of a strong smell, but I expect that to fade over time.

Excellent Addition to My Practice
Since this pandemic hit, I have been practicing yoga at home. Most of the time I would have my studio's equipment, but since I am home I decided to invest in 2 cork blocks to help me support myself through yoga.

Love These Blocks
These are a great set of cork blocks: sturdy, not too heavy, no slip, and a great investment for those who practice a lot of yoga. I finally invested after using cork blocks at my gym for 2+ years; so much better than foam. My only critique is that the edges a little unfinished so bits of cork have been flaking off. I expect this to stop after regular use wears down to a smooth edge, so I'm not too worried.

Love My Blocks
I had foam blocks, a different brand and didn’t love them. Now I’m 100% loving the firm support from my Hugger Mugger cork blocks.

The Best Yoga Blocks by Far!
I have grown accustomed to the Hugger Mugger cork blocks in the Altadena Iyengar Yoga Studio. They are an investment at $21 plus shipping. There is no comparison. This company has mastered cork density, smooth texture, and strength. Foam blocks are often unstable and irregular. Wood blocks are nice but hard with sharp edges (and so noisy when you drop them!) I’ve tried them all, and cork blocks rule!

Everything I’ve purchased from Hugger Mugger is excellent! The quality is superb, and they’ve allowed me to take my practice to the next level. Definitely a worthy investment for anyone who is committed to their self care.
