Perfect size for Manduka Pro yoga mat with room for towels. It has additional zippered pockets for extra storage of things. Strap is strong and sturdy and the zippers are thick and smooth. This is honestly the most beautiful yoga mat carrier I have ever used. The colors are gorgeous and the quality materials and craftsmanship are top notch. I know I 'm definitely not going to have to worry about getting another - as this one for sure is going to last me forever.

The mat is (very) thin - sticky on the underside and a texture like 'chamois leather' on the patterned side. It folds small enough to pack in a small rucksack for a few days without creating fold marks in the mat - also rolls very thin and comes with a strap. I can understand why some people with very dry hands may find this mat a little slippery, but I don't do 'hot' yoga and don't suffer with 'sweaty hands' and still find that the mat grips perfectly well - the warmer you become, the better the grip becomes. The smoothness also helps during transitions from one asana to the next. I have been putting the mat over my normal 'sticky' mat during the cold weather, just because it is warmer to lay on! The mat is expensive, but the quality is good and is worth the investment.

So far so good - colors are beautiful and vibrant and the grip is great for hot yoga!
