I bought a Yoga Design Lab mat for my mom for her birthday and loved hers so much that I had to buy one for myself. We both use it for infrared yoga but it would work well for any kind of yoga! Best yoga mat. It's soft on your hands. It grips great when it gets slightly wet. I used this all day in all types of yoga classes at wanderlust and it was perfect.its unique in color/print, light enough to travel with, and looks high end. So happy it came with a carrying strap too.

BEST. YOGA. MAT. EVER. And I have tried many mats (wasted money) from many different companies. By the middle of my practice, using other mats, I was searching for places left on the mat/reaching for nearby places other than the mat that weren't slippery causing me to concentrate on not sliding instead of my breath. I truly thought, when I purchased this mat, no way is this gonna work. I am absolutely amazed at how well this mat absorbed my sweat (ew, ha) and not once did I come close to slipping. This mat magically stayed dry to the touch. I recommend this mat highly to anyone who needs to practice yoga, not trying to keep from injury. PS - machine washable!!!

I love this mat/towel combo. My yoga practice consists of hot power yoga daily. If you sweat you'll stick to the mat, if you do not sweat you need a spray bottle. The dampness creates the non-slip you are looking for. I use this on top of my regular mat and it creates a really thick place for me to practice comfortably.

I love this mat! I've gone though a jade harmony and a Lulu mat, and wanted to try something different. This mat is beautiful and functional, and prevents slippage during hot yoga. On days that I practice at home, I simply sprinkle a little water on it. I want another they are so pretty!
