Perfect for Beginners: A Mat That Stays Clean and Grippy!
Yogis, this is my first proper mat and I love it!I read lots of reviews before purchasing and this one is perfect. Good grip, even when I am sweating.I was worried when I got it that it would look dirty quickly, but everything brushes off (even my unfortunate foundation stain came off!).

Perfect At-Home Yoga Bundle – Beautiful, No-Slip, and Durable!
Since the pandemic shut down local gyms I finally decided to invest in at-home equipment, and after some research I found Yoga Design and LOVE their products! I got a discounted bundle of a mat, strap, and towel, and now use these products 2-3 times a day for both cardio workouts and yoga. A beautiful design that is truly no-slip, which was my largest concern - just a little spritz of water (or some sweaty hands) and you are all set! Some people may think it has a plastic-y smell, but you could only tell if your face is straight in it - just an hour or two airing out or spritzing the mat with a water and essential oil blend and you are good to go! My at-home studio is on carpet, so this may be a bit thin for someone with bad knees (if so, look at their other thicker mats), but I love my choice and would recommend them to anyone!

Palm Tree Mat is Exactly What I Wanted – So Much Better Than My Old Mat!
Disclaimer: I haven't had this very long. But here are my initial thoughts. The palm tree mat is just what I wanted. I love it. If I had to describe what this mat is like... it's basically like a huge mouse pad. So it doesn't move around at all. It's soft on top and doesn't feel as rough on my old lady knees. I've always had a hard time with my hands slipping everywhere with my old mat. I had to buy gloves, which aren't super comfy. All the slipping around really impacts my form. Makes my wrists hurt. And I don't feel like I'm getting all the benefits of yoga. This mat is SO much better so far. You do slip a little at first. But once your hands get warmed up, you're good to go! I put lotion on my hands right before I get started and that seems to help with the beginning slipperiness. This mat is obviously more expensive than other mats. But for me, it seems worth it. I figured it was time to really invest in yoga if I'm going to keep at it.
