This mat is ABSOLUTELY the best for hot yoga.I LOVE Not having to use a separate towel on top of my mat. This mat works best if you lightly spray the front with water (where you place hands for down dog, plank etc) and also lightly spray the Back where you step for down dog and warrior poses.As you sweat throughout class the grip remains amazing- if you are someone that sweats ALOT don't wet it too much before class as if the mat becomes saturated it will slip a bit.I have only been using this mat for about two weeks - but I have used it 12 times and can't say enough about what a great deal it is. I returned much more expensive mats (Jade and others) due to slipping once they got damp in class-I love that I can toss this in the machine to clean- although so far I have just sprayed my down and let dry flat. I plan to wash in machine monthly.Thanks for such a great product- the design is beautiful as well!

This mat feels like a dream. Love that it responds with a little grip when I work up a sweat or stays super comfy for some chill nighttime stuff.

Absolutely love my YDL mat. This is the second one I have purchased, I adore the design, the texture and that it is machine washable.

Love it! It's a great way to grab and go and there is no slipping or bunching because the towel is attached. Easy to wipe down after hot yoga and when it comes time to wash it I'll probably just hit it with a spray cleaner and the hose and hang to dry. Don't know that it'll do well in my top loading machine. It's not as padded as a regular mat so I notice a slight difference when I'm on my elbows or knees, but they'll get a lot of use. Bought two of them. The colors are awesome and they have a look of brushed suede.

Love this mat, it's gorgeous and brilliant even stops me slipping in a hot class. Delivery was speedy too.

I have transitioned to this mat for all of my studio practice (hot or not hot). As suggested i spray with a bit of water before class and it works like a charm. i like to air out my mat at home over a towel rack before the next day's practice.I also have the 1.5 mm combo mat which is also wonderful, but this one gives my bones a little more cushion.
