YDL Combo Yoga Mat - 2-in-1 (Mat + Towel) - Best For Hot Practices

I was really nervous buying this because it had a few bad reviews. But I absolutely love this mat. Its a little on the heavier side (so if you're traveling long distances) but so far I've done yoga/meditation on the beach (the wet sand didnt cut into it), in the rain (didnt get slippery), and on a rocky cave floor (enough padding so small, pointy rocks didnt hurt my knees). And I use it regularly at home, and as a perk, my cat loves to lay on it too!

So great! the mat is very thin so it's easy to carry to and from yoga classes every day. It's a little heavier than I expected though, but it rolls really nicely. the top is very soft so I don't mind putting my forehead on the mat during child's pose. I did need to add a little water to my hands ( Just the condensation from my water bottle) to make sure I had some more grip just in the beginning of my practice. However once I got into my practice I had no problem in downward dog or wheel. If your knees hurt in table top, you may need a blanket or a second mat underneath for more cushion. It's perfect for what I needed, plus it was inexpensive. I didn't notice a huge chemically potent rubber smell at all, I didn't need to air it out, like my old mat.Would recommend and would buy again if I needed.

I love this mat! So many compliments from others. When I first ordered I was worried about slipping and sliding since the top material is partially a towel, but so far I've used it three times (and never wet the mat beforehand) and it's been totally fine. In fact, everyone else with traditional rubber mats complained about slipping, and I've been fine! Great company with a great mission with a great product to prove it

May is as promised. Great surface for a hot sweaty practice. Dries quickly.

This yoga mat is LUXURY!! The towel top is so soft and smooth, sweat absorbing and so pretty. The bottom of the mat is nice and grippy with a nice amount of padding so that it does not hurt to roll on your spine. Recommended ten fold. *not negative just something to be aware of, it is heavier than your typical mat***they also make amazing light weight travel mats with the towel topüíñ

Love my Combo Mat so much I had to purchase 2! It gas been perfect for my hot yoga class: no skidding or sliding. I don't have to put a towel over (which normally causes me to slip all over) I put it in the washer about every 2 weeks and it has held up well and not faded. Also love the carry strap it comes with. I highly recommend this Mat and can't wait to purchase more as new patterns come out!!

I spent a lot of time and tried quite a few mats before picking this mat and I am glad I spent the time doing so. Its a fantastic mat if you get sweaty when you practice yoga. It is very smooth and if you aren't sweating then there isn't any grip. Follow the instructions though and lightly spray mat before practice and the grip comes into its own. I practice hot forest yoga and literally drip sweat and this is by far the best mat I've found for my practice. Another bonus is the soft silky feel which makes this mat ideal for feeling wonderful whilst enjoying a mellow restorative class. The colours are amazing and it really is worth the expense if you are serious about your yoga.
