I love the colors of my new Yoga Design Lab mat. At first I thought there would be a towel included with this mat. But later realized that it was a mat for hot yoga classes and the towel material is built into the mat for when you sweat.I don't do hot yoga and my hands and feet don't sweat. So I was sliding on the nicely textured thick mat. So I just use a spray bottle with water and spray the front and back area of the mat where my feet and hands go before I begin my regular yoga practice. This works for me. The mat comes with a carrying strap. I find the mat a little on the bulky and heavier side for carrying. This was a present from my husband where he discovered it in the "How to Spend It" magazine in "The Financial Times". This mat comes in a so many different colors and styles.My husband likes to do his pushups and planks on the mat as well. I haven't really rated the mat for durability as I've only had it for a short while. It is washable but I haven't tried that yet either and since it seems a lot heavier than my old mat, which wasn't washable, I'm not sure if I'll want to put it in my washing machine. I think this mat comes in a smaller size as well.All in all, I pretty much love the mat.

Very light weight and easy to travel with! It does not slip at all which is perfect for hot yoga! This is my first time trying a mat that is only 1mm. I feel much more grounded. I absolutely love the print I got! Definitely recommend!!!

I got this mat for Heated Vinyasa yoga classes. Back in college, I used to do Bikram and hated the whole separate towel/mat issue and some mats would roll up. So when I decided to restart yoga this time, I stumbled upon this mat that has the towel built in. I absolutely love it! It's so nice not having to carry a towel because the mat has it built in. It never rolls up! Before each class, I spray it with water to get a little better grip. Even after it dries, I have never had an issue with slipping on it. And heated vinyasa can get sweaty! I haven't tried washing it yet, but I love that I have the option of just throwing it into the washing machine. If I had to replace it in the future, I would absolutely get another one exactly like this. Also, I love how bright the colors are. Just makes me happy to look at :) highly recommend

I find the mat a little slippery if my skin is too dry. That said, I overall love the mat and find it feels nice, properly thick, etc.

An amazing yoga mat! Although it's a little on the high on the price, it's definitely a great investment. I love how soft it feels while also giving me grip as I sweat a lot - especially in hot yoga!
