Disappointed
I was disappointed in the density of the mat. It is nothing like the ones from 10-15 years ago. When I lay the mat out, it is so light that it does not lay flat, and it buckles until my weight has flattened it out. I prefer a heavier density.

Nice mat
The mat is a standard size, a nice color (I chose indigo), and lightweight. I did not slide while performing asanas, and I liked the cushiness on my feet and knees. It is a nice mat.

Arrived Quickly
I’m very pleased with my new mat. My old one (different brand) was completely worn out and becoming slippery.

Love it!
I've had a Tapas Ultra Mat for years and love it but it was time to get a new one. I didn't get rid of the old one though, I am still using it for extra cushion under the new one. I love my new mat but it will take a little time for it to get as sticky as my old one.

Love It. Best Ever.
I have used may kinds of mats in different classes. This one is by far the best. I'm glad its made in the USA. Haven't tried the eco-friendly one because it wasn't available when I purchased mine almost three years ago and it still seems new.

Nice Mat!
I've had a Tapas Original mat for about 13 years and was very happy with it except that I needed just a little more cushion for my knees. I've used the Tapas Ultra a few times now and find it to be equally sticky with the perfect amount of extra cushion. It is quite squishy, as another reviewer says, your hand/foot imprint stays for several seconds. But I can still do a one leg balancing posture without issue so it's obviously not too unstable.

Just Right
Just right. A little sticky -- but not too much. Cushy-- but again not too much. Third one that I have had over time. I have used other mats -- some better for different practices, but this is my favorite.
